Introducing the Ambient Renew Reclaim Program

Through the recent release of Ambient Renew, an eco-friendly alternative to traditional solar screen fabric made with REPREVE® Recycled Polyester, users can rest assured they are buying into a product that is fully recyclable.  

In partnership with REPREVE, we're pleased to announce the launch of our first recycling program, the Ambient Renew Reclaim Program.

At the end of its lifecycle, customers have an option to easily ship the fabric to our facility to create a second generation of REPREVE fiber which may be re-purposed into clothing, upholstery, or renewed Ambient Renew window roller shade fabric!  

Senior Product Manager, Jessica Bondell led the program development and commented, "We recognized an opportunity to develop a product using REPREVE Polyester that fit both design and sustainability requirements without sacrificing the performance expected of window covering fabrics." She added, "Being able to offer a recycling solution was the cherry on top.  We are very excited to be able to give our customers a tool to help reduce their impact on the natural environment."  

The Ambient Renew Reclaim Program is a simple three-step process; Prepare, Package, and Ship. When it’s time to change out Ambient Renew shades, or when an Ambient Renew shade is manufactured, the fabric waste and left over fabric scraps can be returned.  Remove all hardware and then package the fabric in any standard Gaylord size box or pallet container to be shipped back to our facility. 

It's that easy. We take care of the rest to ensure the product is back in the hands of REPREVE and ready to be converted into a new product for consumption.
